What You Will Bring

• Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience with experience in the nonprofit sector

• Full cycle accounting experience (strong understanding/knowledge of and previous experience with GAAP)

• QuickBooks Online experience required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• Advanced Excel skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong customer service skills - ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a way that is professional, friendly and reassuring

• Ability to balance the demands and needs of multiple clients at once

• Critical thinking, problem solving, and determination

What You’ll Do

• This is a virtual, client-facing role; you will be using video communication software to interact with clients

• Maintain an organized general ledger and chart of accounts

• Full cycle accounting - accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, monthly GL reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, grant reporting

• Ensure prompt and accurate monthly closing of books

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $84,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. We are committed to pay equity and ensure fair compensation practices in alignment with our organizational values.
