Operations Manager

Do you thrive in dynamic environments? Are you a detail-oriented, mission-driven problem-solver who wants to help launch and grow a transformative nonprofit? Tierras Indígenas Community Land Trust (TICLT) seeks an Operations Manager / Executive Assistant to keep our mission running smoothly.

Why This Role Matters

TICLT is on a mission to protect and reclaim land for our communities, creating affordable housing, urban greening, and communal spaces. We’re building a BIPOC-owned women’s clinic and a community-run arts space, and we need an operations professional to help make them happen.

Your Impact

  • Keep the Organization Running: Oversee daily operations, manage projects, and ensure smooth workflows.
  • Support Leadership: Provide executive assistance to the Executive Director, handling scheduling, meetings, and high-level coordination.
  • Manage Finances & HR: Work with consultants on accounting, payroll, and HR compliance.
  • Develop Processes: Build efficient organizational systems to support a fast-growing nonprofit.
  • Plan & Execute Events: Support board meetings, community workshops, and strategic initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years in operations, executive support, or nonprofit administration.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
  • Skilled in accounting, finance, HR, and office management.
  • Passionate about housing justice, anti-gentrification, and community empowerment.
  • BIPOC, queer, trans, gender-nonconforming, previously incarcerated, and community residents strongly encouraged to apply.

Compensation: $65,000.00-$79,000.00
