OUR PURPOSE

Dripping Springs STARS exists to provide our players with every opportunity possible in their community. STARS Soccer was created to provide Dripping Springs youth soccer players with the option to play in competitive regional leagues. All STARS teams are coached by professional coaches who are licensed by the US Soccer Federation. Our purpose is to improve DSYSA Soccer as a whole. Not just those players who play in higher divisions, but all players in DSYSA. Staying true to a holistic mission of player development for all by bringing the best knowledge and resources to our community.

Requirements:

• 18 years+
• Meet all requirements of STX Soccer Risk Management Requirements: Background checks, SafeSport, Heads Up
• US Soccer Youth License
• Experienced in youth soccer coaching
• Familiarize yourself with the required program platforms
• Accountability to the team and the club
• Attend and engage in Staff and General Board Meetings when requested
• Ability to commute or relocate to and from our base location:
• 370 Sports Park Rd. Dripping Springs, TX 78620

EXPECTATIONS

• To ensure that every player who desires to play competitive soccer will be coached and mentored in an organized and challenging situation.
• To create "S.T.A.R.S" - Sportsmanship, Teamwork, Attitude, Respect & Self-Improvement in our teams
• To administer an age-appropriate player development curriculum, and to individualize it to each player and their learning style.
• To have open communication between administrators, coaches, players, and parents, so that concerns are heard and responded to in a timely manner.
• To build a community soccer program that is rewarding and fun for all involved.
• Be involved in league and competition decisions reflecting the teams
• Be a part of bettering our soccer community
• Be involved in the team schedule and communication of the long-term plan for players.
• Adapt curriculum to player and team needs
• Be passionate about educating youth

Pay Rate: $600-$3,500 per month
