Speech & Language Pathologist, Field Team

Department: Managed Services Client - Includ(Ed)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team. Alongside the rest of the field therapy team, this Speech therapist would see approximately 22-25 infants and toddlers in the home to provide therapy (driving time paid, mileage reimbursed). Additionally, they would co-teach our weekly parent-and-me developmental playgroups.

What is it that we do?

Includ(Ed) provides early intervention-focused, full-time, inclusive preschool where all are welcome. Collectively, our staff provides the support, care, and education that enable typically-developing children and children with disabilities to learn, play, and thrive together.

Responsibilities:

  • Allocate approx 30-32 hours per week for home visits, providing speech and language therapy services to children in the comfort of their own homes. This includes drive time.

  • Allocate approx 5-7 hours to admin and collaboration time

  • Plan and facilitate 1 weekly developmental playgroup for families and children alongside therapy team

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Valid state licensure and ASHA certification

  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children, particularly in an inclusive setting, is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge and expertise in assessing and treating a wide range of speech and language disorders.

  • Strong command of AAC Devices and working with students who use them

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively balance classroom responsibilities, case management, and home visits.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.

  • Knowledge of best practices in inclusive education and early childhood development.

  • Demonstrated understanding of individualized treatment planning and the ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse needs.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a transdisciplinary team, collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other professionals.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact compassionately with children, parents, and colleagues.

  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children of all abilities.

  • Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of a pilot program and work in a collaborative, innovative environment.

  • Genuine belief in the power of inclusion.

  • Regular access to reliable transportation.

  • Commitment to continued professional development

  • Spanish speaking a strong preference

Physical Requirements of the Job:

Applicants should be comfortable with:

  • Standing for 2+ plus hours per day

  • Stooping, bending, climbing, and walking frequently

  • Lifting up to 40 pounds

Pay and Benefits:

  • Payscale: $84,000-$100,000
